FRESHMAN RESCUE

The Freshman Rescue opportunity is an extension of the online learning program offered at each high school campus during the fall and spring semesters. Freshman Rescue is open to incoming 9th or 10th graders with incomplete credits in Algebra I. This is a credit recovery opportunity, NOT available for original credit. The following information provides an overview of the Freshman Rescue program and details the scheduling and staffing logistics.

Coursework Begins: June 3, 2019 (the week before regular Summer School)

 Transportation: Is NOT provided

 Tuition (per course; payments can be made via RevTrak)

· $50 (Students on Free and Reduced Lunch)

· $100

 

Students who enroll in this course:

· Must be a current FBISD incoming 9th/10th grade student who needs to recover credit for Algebra 1a or Algebra 1b.

· Cannot be taking all or part of the course for original credit

· Must have passed the Algebra 1 EOC, or with approval of principal and teacher-of-record

 

Students can turn in their application to Mr. Warner in Office 107 from 5/14/2019  - 5/28/2019.
