I started teaching in the fall of 1994 in Norman, Oklahoma, because I wanted to help students understand math better and prepare them for college-level mathematics and life beyond high school. I moved to Sugar Land in 1996 with my husband and began teaching at Austin High School in the fall of 1996. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1994. I earned my Master's Degree from the University of St. Thomas in the Fall of 2012. I am currently the Math Department Head here at Austin High School.
