Mrs. Amanda Silas

I am so excited about teaching at Austin H. S. again this year.  My name is Amanda Silas and I teach World History and AP World History (WHAP).  I have over 20 years experience teaching and I still love it!  I have a master's degree in education and have taught in schools in El Salvador, Mississippi, Oklahoma and now Texas.  History is my passion and I can't wait to get started.
