Bachelor's in Education
I officially began my teaching career in August 1992, in Abilene ISD upon graduation from Mc Murry University (Spanish and Math teaching fields). These past 31 years have been invested in the youth at Abilene ISD and Fort Bend ISD, five years in Abilene ISD and 21 in Fort Bend ISD. I am currently teaching Spanish I, I consider my teaching strength that of laying a solid foundation in the lower levels. To this end I attempt to offer a variety of learning activities and methods of self-expression for student success.
This course uses a communication language learning approach where students will be required to successfully perform language tasks that pertain to each unit. This course is a performance-based and elicits participation in spoken and written language.
I firmly believe that, in a classroom setting, student effort plus teacher assistance in the learning process equals success.
