Mrs. Khan has been in education since 2002 and has been in Administration here, at Austin High School, since 2016. She has a Masters in Education Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. In addition to her administrative experience, she has taught IPC, Chemistry, and Physics and has been a Science Specialist and Department Chair.

She has lived in the Houston area for over forty years and considers herself a native Houstonian.
