Hello!

I’m Mrs. Henson, and I’m heading into my 4th year of teaching — my 2nd year here at The Castle! I specialize in Child Development, Human Growth and Development, Lifetime Nutrition and Wellness, and Principles of Human Services. I’m also the proud sponsor of our FCCLA club, where students get hands-on opportunities to lead, serve, and shine.

I’m passionate about preparing students with real-life skills they can use beyond the classroom — whether it’s understanding themselves and others, making healthy choices, or planning for their futures.

Outside of school, I’m a proud wife and mom to three amazing kids. Teaching is more than a job for me — it’s a way to inspire, guide, and help students grow into the best version of themselves. I’m so excited for what this year will bring. Let’s make it a great one together!
