Hello everyone, and Welcome to the 2025-2026 academic year!

I am very excited and honored to be a part of your learning journey this year. 

My name is Ms. Varghese [Var-geese], and I am entering my fifth year of teaching at Lawrence E. Elkins High School. 

I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from University of Houston-Victoria, and I was awarded Rookie teacher of the year in the academic year of 2022-2023. 

My teaching philosophy is that every student has the potential for greatness. It is my goal to help achieve their potential by facilitating their journey to a Noble Knight and Fort Bend ISD Profile of a Graduate. 

In my free time, I like to read books, listen to music, play video games, play with my cat Zelda and spend time with my loved ones. 

Elkins is my Alma Mater, and I am thrilled to be back in the castle as an Educator. Every day is a great day to be a Knight!
