• PALS

PALS stands for Peer Assistance and Leadership Students. PALS is a national organization that sponsors a leadership and mentoring program. It is also a class in which students earn grades based on their mentoring and volunteering activities. PAL is a Texas Education Agency approved course (as well as a club/organization).

    How to join PALS

In the spring semester, we will release a flyer with instructions on how to apply for PALs. This will be announced over the announcement and will be in the campus newsletter. There will be a form for students to print and fill out and submit to Mr. Nguyen in room 232. After the application process, there will be an interview process to help us select the best applicants for the program. PALs will have a selection committee that goes through the interview along with Mr. Nguyen. These interview scores will also be combined with teacher recommendations and discipline history. Once every candidate had their interview, the committee will make their decision and emails will be sent out to students who participated in the process.
