This will be my 6th year teaching English at Elkins. I have a Criminal Justice degree from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. I have been fortunate to have worked in many different business industry environments (hospitality/event coordinating, sales, IT support, and corporate training). Due to COVID, I made a career pivot and earned my teaching certification. I have been at Elkins since the fall of 2020.

In 2022, a group of my favorite students and I were allowed to form an EXCEL Club on campus. It is a service and leadership organization. Since its establishment, it has grown wildly in popularity on campus and in the community. I'm very proud to state that it is now the largest EXCEL chapter in the nation! I love the environment here and, of course, my kids! I strive for my classroom to be welcoming, encouraging students to do their best, and to want to learn.
