I am Ann Lopez.  Over the years, I have had the opportunity to teach 6th grade English and Social Studies for 7 years before transitioning to High School.  Teaching has helped me to remain humble in service to others.  In all my career, which began in 2005 and even now,  I  still hold true to the philosophy that every person is capable of learning.  I hold a Masters in Science in TESOL from NOVA Southeastern University in Florida and a BA in Business Administration from The University of Belize.  Currently, I am a teacher in (SAILS) Succeeding in Academic and Independent Living Skills.   Services are designed to provide students with significant cognitive disabilities with an educational program focusing on life skills such as personal care, pre-vocational activities, communication, functional academics and/or social skills.  One of my favorite quotes comes from Confucius, who stated "Our Greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall."
