I have over 10 years of research experience in biomedicine and biotechnology [Ph.D. (University of Delhi, India) and postdoctoral fellowships from University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and LSU]. Before teaching at FBISD, I taught at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University for over 5 years as an Associate Professor.

I enjoy teaching and am very excited to be a part of FBISD. I have taught all the courses across the curriculum in the healthcare pathway, including principles of health science, medical terminology, anatomy & physiology and health science theory.

I have over 12 years of experience as an educator. I have been interacting with different levels of students, high-school, undergraduate and graduate, throughout my career. I would like to have my class as one where there is active learning and interactions among students and between students and myself. My overall goal is to serve as a resource for educational materials and prepare students for the higher-education as well as healthcare industry.
