Degrees and Certifications:
B.S. in Biology A.S. in Biology Teaching Certification (TEA Recognized Teacher Award)
This will be my 11th year in teaching. I grew up in Illinois on a horse ranch. I graduated with a biology degree from Northeastern Illinois University. After graduating, I worked as a zookeeper, aquarium curator, and completed research on rattlesnakes. Before teaching Agriculture, I taught AP biology and AP Environmental Science.
In my personal time, I enjoy hiking, camping, and traveling with my family. I have been married for 3 years and have a daughter who attends Clements High School.
