Miss Harrell
Caroline Harrell - Theatre Arts Teacher
Caroline Harrell is beginning her fourth year of teaching theatre arts at Elkins High School. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance/Acting, she brings extensive stage experience to the classroom, having performed in over 70 productions ranging from classic dramas to contemporary musicals.
Her directing credits include James and the Giant Peach, Little Shop of Horrors, The Addams Family, Blood Wedding, and Footloose. Under her guidance, students have gone on to achieve remarkable success!
Beyond directing, Ms. Harrell teaches courses in acting, stagecraft, and theatre history, emphasizing both technical skills and creative expression. Her comprehensive approach ensures students develop well-rounded theatrical abilities while fostering their individual artistic voices.
Ms. Harrell believes that theatre education builds confidence, collaboration skills, and lifelong appreciation for the arts. She is excited to see all returning students and meet newcomers to the program.
