Hello students and parents,

I’m excited to welcome you to Geometry this year. My name is Maurice Thornton, and I’ll be your math teacher. I have a passion for numbers and problem-solving, and I’m here to help you build a strong foundation in mathematics that will support you throughout high school and beyond. This is my 10th year teaching mathematics and my second year at Elkins High School. Previously I was at Seagoville High School (Dallas, TX) and Duncanville High School (Duncanville, TX).
