My name is Ms. Garner, 6th Year 9th Grade Biology Teacher in Houston, Tx. I am a proud Alumna of Prairie View A&M University, where I obtained a Bachelor's in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry. I am currently in a graduate program, hoping to obtain a Masters in Education focused on School Counseling. I am an avid reader and a huge fan of all music. I love to spend my weekends socializing with friends and family or isolated with a good book. I am looking forward to this school year and a new work environment. My goal is to inspire students to love the subject of science as much as I do! Science is life around here, and I can't wait to show you the fun we have in my classroom.

This will be my second year here at the castle! I have enjoyed teaching and inspiring Elkins Knights.  I am the sponsor of the Elkins African Student Association, a student-led organization that celebrates African culture, fosters community and promotes cultural awareness through events and outreach. I look forward to another great year!
