Greetings!  My name is Sharron Jenkins, a veteran teacher of over 30 years with 27 of those years spent working in Fort Bend ISD.  I attended Lubbock Christian University, graduating with honors and receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish.  My graduate studies at the University of Houston Clear Lake concentrated on Theatre, garnering a Master of Arts degree in Humanities.  Before joining FBISD, I previously taught Spanish and History in Galveston ISD and Industrial ISD.  Throughout my career, I have enjoyed teaching all levels of Spanish and Theatre, World History, US History, and European History.  I presently serve as the Department Leader of World Languages, teaching Spanish 3 AAC and Spanish 4 Advanced Placement Language and Culture. 

During my career, I have enjoyed working with students in and out of the classroom through UIL Academics, Speech and Debate, Thespian Troupes, Spanish Honor Society, and sponsoring various cultural clubs and activities.  I have been privileged to serve as a UIL Academic Coordinator and presently serve as a UIL One Act Play Adjudicator.  It is amazing to witness the achievements, accomplishments, and talents of students in and out of the classroom.
