Hi Elikns family!! My name is Jacques Armant, and I am excited to join the Elikns faculty as the SAILS Teacher/Freshman basketball and Freshman football Coach. With over 22 years of experience as a dedicated educator and coach, including 6 years with the district, I bring a deep passion for student growth, athletic excellence, and community building. 

Born and raised on the bayou of Raceland La. I'm a proud alumnus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where I was a four-year letterman in football and earned my Bachelor's degree. I later continued my academic journey at the University of Missouri, earning a Master's degree in education.  

Outside the classroom, I enjoy staying active by working out and coaching summer basketball for the legendary John Lucas' Nike EYBL basketball program, JL3. 

I'm excited to embark on a new chapter at Elkins High School and look forward to a year filled with growth, learning, and success.
