I graduated from Texas Southern University and was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. I have 26 years of teaching and coaching experience in public schools, and owned an academic enrichment center for twelve years. My educational mission is to ensure that each scholar’s life at Almeta Crawford will be enriched by the exposure of healthy experiences at school, home and within the community, through professional development, parental involvement and community partnerships. Believing that all children desire to be successful, I aim to install an effective Lifetime Fitness Program that guides and empowers them to fulfill their short and long-term goals. I will help each scholar cultivate their own Personal Fitness Prescription and provide feedback to ensure that their growth plan is both challenging and attainable. I aspire to play an instrumental role in partnering with our staff, parents, and community partners to ensure that our students become responsible citizens who are self-driven, can function independently, and can compete in an ever-changing world.
