Greetings, Chargers! I am looking forward to the 2025-2026 academic year, which will mark my third year at ACHS as a special education teacher. As a special education case manager, I navigate through the complexities of individualized education plans (IEPs) and constantly advocate for students' needs. I collaborate with teachers, ARD committee members, and parents to come up with innovative strategies to support students' learning and development.
My role as a SAILS special education teacher is to provide students with significant cognitive disabilities with an educational program focusing on life skills such as personal care, pre-vocational activities, communication, functional academics and/or social skills. This year, your child can look forward to hands-on learning experiences that bring skills to life through structured lessons, role-play, games, peer modeling, and real-world practice.
In our classroom, your child will be supported by a caring team — myself, Ms. Jones, and Mrs. Medron — who are dedicated to helping every student succeed and feel valued. We can’t wait to partner with you for a wonderful year of growth, learning, and joyful moments!
I am a Fort Bend ISD graduate (Elkins Knights ♥) and proud to be a Fort Bend ISD teacher. I am a HUGE Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Stars Fan. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, time outdoors, reading, and cycling.
