Dr. Amber Grady

Dr. Grady, a native Texan, has served in many educational capacities over the last 19 years, with 11 years in Fort Bend ISD. Her experiences include Math Teacher, Math/Science Instructional Specialist, High School Assistant Principal, Middle School Associate Principal, Middle School and High School Principal. Dr. Grady received her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas in Interdisciplinary Studies of Education, with a Minor in Math/Science. She also completed her Master of Education and Doctoral degree of Education at Lamar University. Throughout her career in education, Dr. Grady has led numerous district, state, and national professional development sessions centered around Mathematics Instruction for teachers and administrators, and Instructional Best Practices for the at-risk student. Dr. Grady was recognized with the title of the 2021 Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP) Assistant Principal of the Year while serving at Elkins High School and has most recently been published in TASSP’s Spring/Summer 2024 Journal.

Dr. Grady prides herself on being a relational school leader and making an impact on all students. Her favorite quote that can describe her passion in education is “Every child deserves a champion – an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.” (Rita Pierson)
