I am the Head Director of the Almeta Crawford High School Dance Program, where I also serve as the Head Director of the fierce Flairs Dance Team. I am one of the instructors of the beginning, intermediate, and advanced level dance classes.  I am so honored and proud to be a part of such an elite program that promotes creative and expressive learning opportunities to all students.

This is my 1st year at Crawford, but my 8th year in education and as a director. The highlight of my experience as a director would be winning TWO National Championship Titles with teams I have directed, along with numerous other awards. I am eager to work for the community that serves myself and my children. I am excited to be a part of this campus, and most importantly work with the Charger students that will grow through dance every day. 

I started my undergrad career at the University of Houston, where I was a member of the Prestigious Cougar Dolls Dance Team. I then continued my education at Sam Houston State University, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Minor in History. At SHSU, I was a member of the Fade to Black Dance Ensemble, and a devoted member of the Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority.

My priority as a mother and an educator is to inspire my students and children to be leaders that take pride in their self, school, and community, and to present them with the tools that they need to guide them through all that life has to offer.
