Welcome to our 2025-26 school year!  I am the Neill Elementary SAILS II teacher. I have been a part of FBISD for over 19 years. I enjoy educating our students daily, providing support, patience, understanding, and teaching independence to each and every individual student. I previously taught SAILS K-5 for 15 years. I have also taught Resource for 2 years and Project Read for 1 year, combined with Co-Teaching 2nd grade ELA/Reading/Math and Co-Teaching 4th grade ELA/Reading for 1 year.  I look forward to a wonderful 2025-26 school year!

 I am a dedicated wife and mother of 5; 3 girls and 2 boys.  My youngest son recently graduated from Army Basic Training.  I have been blessed with 4 grandchildren; 1 girl and 3 boys.  I love positivity, prayer, peace, bargain shopping and coffee!  

Education:
I received an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Social Science/Education. Two years later, I received a Masters' Degree and successfully graduated Magna Cum Laude in Teaching and Learning in Technology. I am a certified EC-6 General Education Teacher, EC-12 Special Education Teacher and ESL Teacher.  Education is very important to me. I am excited to have the opportunity to teach your child and I look forward to spending many years to come educating the minds of our students.
