Welcome to Mrs. Dumas' 3rd grade classroom!

I am excited about teaching 3rd grade this year!  This is my 19th year teaching and my 7th year at Neill. I am proud to be a part of such an exceptional school and team of educators.  

My husband Nathan and I are the proud parents of two boys, Noah and Ben.  I was born and raised in Texas and attended FBISD schools, elementary through high school. I am honored to serve and give back to the district and community that has given so much to me. 

As a teacher, I hope to instill a love of learning, self-confidence, and a growth mindset.  I want students to know that our classroom is a safe space to make mistakes, challenge ourselves, and grow. Our classroom is a family where we grow and learn together both socially and academically.   I look forward to watching your child grow, be challenged and soar this year.
