Howdy Longhorns! My name is Takia Jackson and I teach second grade ELAR/Social Studies. I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Washburn University in Topeka Kansas. I am married with three wonderful children ages 16, 15, and 10. I have two fun-loving German Shepherds, Chewy and Princess Leia. Some of my favorite hobbies are reading, going on walks, and baking. Collaboration and creativity are huge in my classroom. I look forward to watching your students grow this year!
