Hi! My name is Sara Hodges and I am teaching first grade this year. I am starting my 21st year in education, with 17 of those years in Alief ISD. I have taught 1st through 4th grade and have also served as a campus Math Interventionist. I was born and raised in Sugar Land and attended FBISD schools from K-12th grade. I graduated from Texas A&M University.

My husband will also be joining the Longhorn family this year. I have 12 year old twins that attended Neill in 4th and 5th grade and are now in 7th grade at Bowie Middle School. The joined Rockin Longhorns in 5th grade and are continuing their love for Percussion in middle school. I also have a 2 year old labradoodle, Luna. She is not far behind her family at all times. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, spending time with my family as well as Luna. I enjoy reading and watching TV.
