Instructional Resource Adoption Overview
-
Fort Bend ISD adopts resources per a cycle established by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). This process, known as proclamations, is issued through the State Board of Education (SBOE) and lists the subject areas that are scheduled for review of new instructional materials. Proclamations are named for the year the materials are available in the classroom. Information about the state's review and adoption process, as well as current and upcoming proclamations, may be found on TEA's Review and Adoption Process webpage.
