My name is Kimberly Ray and this is my 11th year teaching. My hometown is Houston,Tx and I later moved to Pearland,Tx.  I graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree.  I am certified in Early childhood-Fourth Generalist, Fine Arts Early childhood-Twelfth and Gifted and Talented.  I am currently a Fine Arts teacher.

Many things are rewarding being a teacher.  The thank you's from students at the end of the year.  Also very rewarding is seeing a student enjoying an art project and saying that's really cool! There are many talented art students at Ridgemont Elementary and they are always surprised by what they can do.  I love working with young children.  For me, it is a fulfilling passion to inspire the next generation to become lifelong learners of Art.
