Mrs. Tonya Bryant
Hello RME Roadrunners, I am Mrs. Tonya Bryant, the Campus Compliance Coordinator. I earned my Bachelors of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University, and my Masters of School Administration from Lamar Univeristy. I serve the fine students and staff of Ridgemont as the ARD facilitator, 504 Coordinator, and the testing Coordinator. I have served in this capacity for the past 7 years, however this is my first year at Ridgemont. I love being an educator and I am proud to say that I have had the opportunity to touch many lives over the past 26 years. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 27 years and we have one son who is a FBISD graduate of Elkins HS and now attending his parents alma matter SFASU. "Axe 'Em Jacks!" When I'm not serving the students and staff of Ridgemont, I enjoy shopping (I just love my retail therapy), reading, and singing. This is my 27th year in eduction and I look forward to seeing and working with you and/or your child/children. As Campus Compliance Coordinator, I coordinate the campus special education department, 504 Meetings, referrals, and facilitate special education ARDs. I am excited to be a part of this amazing team at RME and ELC!

PROCEDURAL SAFEGUARDS
Special education law defines state complaint procedures and due processes to safeguard a free appropriate public education for children with disabilities in order to resolve problems and or disagreements. This explanation is readily available on each campus and a signed parental receipt for this document is contained in the state audit folder of every special education student. A complete copy of the Individuals with Disabilities Act 2004 (IDEA) and the State Regulations are available to review at each campus. If you desire a copy of these documents, please ask your campus.
