I graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music with EC-12 Teacher Certification. Prior to attending Prairie View A&M University, I studied music education at the University of Florida (Gainesville, FL.) and Norfolk State University (Norfolk, VA.), where I was a member of the Spartan "Legion" Marching Band. I am originally from Miami Beach, FL. and graduated from Miami Beach Sr. High School. My principal instrument is the bass trombone and I have 20+ years of musical experience. I am currently pursuing a M.M. (Master of Music Education) at Lamar University.

I currently serve as one of the assistant band directors and arrangers at Willowridge High School and work closely with our brass section and jazz ensemble.

I have high expectations for all of our students and will use my passion for music as a tool to advance our students' lives and futures through music.
