My name is Marcus Washington and I am the U.S. History Master Teacher here at Marshall. The U.S. History team has done a phenomenal job of preparing students to be successful on the STAAR test and making U.S. History relevant by connecting the curriculum to real-world events. I am also the JV/Varsity defensive back football coach. I attended Mississippi State on a full football scholarship where I received my bachelor's degree. I am entering my 7th year teaching and my fifth year here at Marshall. As a proud 2006 alum, I am excited to be back at home and eager to pass on any knowledge I can to my students so they can be successful.
