Overview-
A Tri-M Music Honor Society chapter opens up a world of opportunities for students who have already shown themselves to be academically capable and musically gifted. Through performance and community service, they’ll develop confidence, creativity, critical thinking, compassion, and a host of other leadership skills sure to serve them well in school and beyond.
Tri-M welcomes student musicians in grades 6 through 12. Currently, there are over 1,950 chapters in all 50 states, involving more than 75,000 students. Besides shining a bright light on their school’s music programs, these future leaders contribute more than 750,000 service hours in their local communities.
Membership-
Students must be enrolled in one of the musical performance ensemble such as Band, Choir, or Orchestra.
