Greetings everyone in the Thurgood Marshall High School Community,

I have been teaching for a total of 21 years and counting. I have had the opportunity to teach at Marshall since the building opened in 2002. I have taught every subject level in ELA throughout my years at Marshall, including Pre-AP, AP, and IB courses. I had the honor of being named Teacher of the Year for the 2011-2012 school year. I was the English Dept. Chair from 2009-2013. Aside from the academic spectrum, I am an assistant coach for the Boys basketball program here at Marshall. I value the opportunity to teach and help shape the lives of students educationally, mentally, physically, and socially.
