Welcome to Pre-AP Chemistry! I am Ms. Alexander and I am so thrilled to be your teacher this year! I know this is going to be an amazing year despite the challenges we are all facing. This school year is a great opportunity for all of us to grow and learn together.

Before beginning my journey as a teacher, I was an Education Program Specialist at The Health Museum in the Houston Museum District. I coordinated several successful programs, including the Global Teen Medical Summit, Duke University Talent Identification Program and Discovery Camps.

I have a master’s degree in Anatomy from Howard University and a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from Prairie View A&M University. I am originally from Houston, Texas and I am an only child but my cousins are like my siblings.

Chemistry is all around us and I cannot wait to help you experience it daily! This school year is going to be different than any other and I am excited to take on the challenge! I hope you are as well!
