Greetings! My name is Godfrey Boston and welcome to the wonderful world of Professional Communications and Debate. I have been teaching in Fortbend ISD for 6 years and this is my 4th year here at Thurgood Marshall. I am the head coach of the Speech and Debate team and head sponser of the Men of Distinction.

I grew up here in Missouri City where I attended and graduated from Elkins High School. I went on to attend Prairie View A&M University where productive people are produced. I received my Bachelor's degree in Communications and found my passion for speech. A few years later after receiving my B.A. I went on to further my education by earning my Masters degree in communications. The past four years here at Marshall have been a blast. I have the best job in the world and love every minute of it.

My speech is a skill that I have used as a tool to help me be successful in life. I truly believe and life by that statement. My ability to communicate in different life settings and environments is a skill that I want to give back to the students of the same community I grew up in. This is what drives me to be an educator.
