Hi! My name is Amy Blevins, and I’m excited to teach third grade for the 2025–2026 school year. This will be my 16th year in education, and I’m proud to have spent 14 of those years at Scanlan Oaks Elementary!

I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. I hold a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. In 2018, I was honored to be named Scanlan Oaks Elementary’s Teacher of the Year.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my son, Cade, who graduated from Ridge Point High School and will graduate from Texas A&M University in August 2025. Gig ’em!  I also enjoy reading and watching movies.

I’m passionate about creating a positive and engaging classroom environment where students feel supported and inspired to grow. I look forward to building strong relationships with both students and families as we work together for an amazing year ahead!
