Welcome to Kindergarten! 

This is my 11th year teaching at Scanlan Oaks, and I couldn’t be more excited! I grew up in beautiful Colorado, where I developed a deep love for the mountains, skiing, and cheering on the Denver Broncos. Although moving to Houston was a big adjustment, I’ve grown to love the beach—almost as much as the mountains!

Recently, I married the kindest man I know, Bret! I have two wonderful (and very busy!) boys. Kellen is a college pitcher who’s as passionate about golf as he is about baseball! Baylor, my younger son, plays baseball too and also enjoys tennis and pickleball.

My home is filled with fun—and animals! I have a sweet pitbull named Mila, a playful papillon named Biloxi (my best friend!), a stunning kitten named Kensington, and a tuxedo cat named Layla. As you can tell, I’m a big animal lover! When I’m not traveling for baseball, I enjoy fostering kittens, playing pickleball, and taking vacations with my family.

As a teacher, my goal is to help every child build confidence in all areas of school while providing a structured, nurturing environment. I’m excited to work together to support your child’s growth and success this year!
