Greetings, Falcons!

My name is Amreen Ladha and I began my teaching career in 2012. I'm a proud product of FBISD, and have had the opportunity to teach at three high schools within the district.. Throughout my career, I’ve taught a variety of courses, including:  Fashion Design (I and II), Interior Design, Practicum in Human Services, Principles of Human Services, Human Growth and Development, Money Matters, Introduction to Culinary Arts, PALS, AVID I, and AVID II. In addition, I served as an adjunct professor at Houston Community College, where I taught Learning Framework (EDUC 1300).

My philosophy on education is that with the right tools and direction, every child can succeed. I’m deeply inspired by the words of Rita Pierson, who said “Every child deserves a champion: an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists they become the best they can possibly be”. I was honored to be named CTE’s Middle School Teacher of the Year during the 2024-2025 school year, and I remain committed to helping students thrive as they prepare for high school and beyond.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my twin daughters and reading all the books on my never-ending “to be read” list.
