Hello and welcome to 8th grade United States History.  My name is Mr. Gummelt and I will be your Social Studies teacher.  I look forward to meeting everyone that will be in my classes for this school year.  

Please come to class ready to learn, pay attention during the lessons and discussions, and actively participate in classroom activities and Q & A sessions.  Everyone can do well in our U.S. History class by completing assignments in a timely manner, studying for exams, and asking questions if you are unsure about the material or the assignments.
