Howdy Longhorns! 

My name is Jessica Goodrum, and I am very excited to be your child’s second grade teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. This will be my 16th year teaching, and I am just as excited as I was my first year.  I have previously taught 1st-4th grade and reading recovery.  I attended Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) for my bachelor's degree and U of H-Victoria for my master's degree. I have a love for reading and a passion to help children discover a love for learning.  I have 3 children ages 20, 17, and 16 that keep me very busy.  My family is everything to me and I truly enjoy every moment I spend with them. I am committed to providing all my students with the best instruction possible and I look forward to an amazing school year!
