Welcome to 2nd Grade!

Hello!

My name is Lizbeth Dimas your child's 2nd grade bilingual teacher. I will be teaching Math and Science. This will be my 10th year teaching at Goodman Elementary and love it. We will be having a great year ahead of us!  My goal is for students to take ownership of their learning. I believe education is very important, which is why I aim for a safe learning environment. Every child is capable of learning and in my classroom I want to ensure that everyone reaches their full potential. I am so excited and honored to have your student in my classroom for this coming school year, 2023-2024.

Mi nombre es Lizbeth Dimas maestra bilingüe de segundo grado de su hijo/a. Enseñaré matemáticas y ciencias. Este será mi decimo año enseñando en Goodman Elementary y me encanta. ¡Tendremos un gran año por delante! Mi objetivo es que cada estudiante se apropien de su aprendizaje. Creo que la educación es muy importante, por eso busco un entorno de aprendizaje seguro. Cada niño es capaz de aprender y en mi salón quiero asegurarme de que todos alcancen su máximo potencial. Estoy muy emocionada y honrada de tener a su estudiante en mi salón de clases este año escolar 2023-2024.
