Dear Students and Families,

Welcome to 2nd Grade!  I'm excited about the opportunity to get to know you, and I am looking forward to a happy and productive school year.

I would like to introduce myself and express just how excited I am to be working with your child this year!  My name is Melanie Chandler.  My husband and I have four daughters.  I obtained my Bachelor's from Southern University in 2002.  I am currently enrolled at Lamar University, expecting to receive my Master's in School Counseling, in 2025. This is my eighth year at Goodman and Fort Bend ISD and I am looking forward to having a great time teaching and learning with your child this school year.
