Welcome to Scanlan Oaks Elementary First Grade! My name is Mrs. Lauren Carpenter. I grew up in Sugarland, Texas and attended FBISD schools all throughout K-12, so FBISD has always felt like home. I am certified to teach Kindergarten through 6th grade and this will be my 6^th year teaching and my 4th year at Scanlan Oaks Elementary, my home. I truly mean that! SOE feels like home to me and it is an honor to be a teacher in this community.

Teaching is a passion and I love to share the love of school with my students. I couldn't be more excited to be part of this school! I live within the Sienna community with my husband, my two children, Emma and Cole, and our dog, Tater. I look forward to building relationships with my students and parents so we can partner together and have a fantastic school year!
