We would like to welcome you to Lake Olympia Middle School, which was established in 1992 as Fort Bend ISD’s eighth middle school. Our campus mission is as follows: Mustangs will PACE with Positivity, Respect, Integrity, Dedication, and Empathy (PRIDE) to ensure that all students are inspired and equipped to pursue futures beyond what they can imagine. PACE is the acronym utilized to encapsulate the goals of the district – Professionalism, Accountability, and Communication – and our own spin on how it is carried out on our campus – Professionalism, Accountability, Clarity in Communication, and Empowerment.  These are the commitments to which we ask for stakeholders (i.e., parents, students, staff, and community members) to subscribe.

At Lake Olympia Middle School, our vision is as follows: Our vision is for students to enter with a COMMITMENT and exit with a CAUSE AND CALL TO ACTION. We aim to ensure all Mustangs acquire the necessary tools to be life-longer learners, collaborative problem-solvers who empower themselves and others, and culturally responsive and productive leaders within their own communities. We will show scholars how much we care for them through our high expectations of them. We expect our scholars to engage in and meet the rigor of all their courses. We expect our scholars to respect themselves, the staff, and one another. We expect parents and guardians to be equal partners in their children’s learning. We expect scholars to simply do their very best each and every day.

Our school consists of approximately 1200 students and families, but it is our goal to give families the personal attention desired and needed. Our doors are always open, so we hope that you will be actively engaged in our school community. It is very important to know what your child is learning and what he or she is involved in here at school. It is our hope that you will stay abreast of such things through frequently visiting our website, checking Skyward Family Access weekly, checking Schoology regularly, reading our campus newsletter, and participating in our monthly check-ins. Our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an excellent place to get started and learn how you might plug in.
