I grew up in the Denver area. After graduating from Abilene Christian University with a BA in history with minors in English and Bible, I married and moved to the Houston area where I worked as a creative developer at a start-up for a year. I then got my alternative teaching certificate and began teaching English at Bellaire High School in HISD. After teaching six years at Bellaire, I took a year off to stay home with my two children. I then spent six years teaching English at Logos Preparatory Academy. I'm excited to start my 13th year teaching at Dulles!
