During the summer, we encourage parents and families to commit to 30 minutes a day of reading texts of their choice while school is not in session. Research suggests that this simple commitment provides growth in vocabulary, fluency, background knowledge, and overall comprehension.
Please visit the District Guidelines for more information.
Course Selection for the 23-24 school year has been finalized. Students may not request course changes. However, students may request a level change through May 25th, 2023. For example, students may not request a change from Pre-Calculus to Statistics but can request a change from Pre-Calculus to AP Pre-Calculus upon parent/guardian written request. Students who take summer high school courses will have their 2023-24 course requests updated once summer grades are received by their counselor.
Dulles High School successfully prepares all students for the 21st century by building character, developing technology skills and creating lifelong learners through a tradition of excellence, rich cultural diversity and purposeful, equal participation of parents, teachers, students and community.
