  • Viking Juniors and Parents,

I want to make you aware of a slight change to the process for our 2025-2026 seniors.  Students will not have the opportunity to select office aide or off campus until they have completed their College, Career, Military Readiness Indicator.  Once students have earned their College, Career, Military Readiness (CCMR) indicator, students will then be able to have office aide or off campus added to their schedules by their counselors. .  DHS counselor worked with 11th graders to complete alternate choices in the event that students do not have a CCMR indicator by the first day of school.

Ways to earn the CCMR indicator are found on our DHS College and Career Readiness Website.  Many of our current Juniors have already earned the indicator and many more will do so through scores on our school day SAT (March 5), Advanced Placement, or TSI Tests.  Successful completion of Dual Credit classes (see the CCMR requirements), On Ramps classes or industry-based certifications are also ways to earn the CCMR indicator.  Students can locate their CCMR status in SchooLinks.

I want to make you aware of this change since the course selection window is now open in Schoolinks and you may have questions on why office aide or off campus are not able to be selected when you are completing your form.

    Thank you.
