    Endorsements

An endorsement is a set of courses that allow students to explore an area of interest allowing students to learn more about a particular subject or career area. Students in Fort Bend Independent School District select their Endorsement in their eighth (8th) grade year during the career planning/course selection process. In seventh (7th) grade, students complete the Career Cluster Inventory in Naviance to help them narrow their career interests, which in turn helps students select an endorsement. There are five (5) Endorsements from which to choose:

Each endorsement has a variety of pathways students may take to earn the endorsement. Please refer to the Fort Bend ISD Course Selection Guide and Universal Course Selection Sheet for pathway options.
