My name is Jennifer Scarrow, and this is my first year as an EL Specialist at Seguin Elementary.  I attended elementary, middle, and high school in Fort Bend ISD.  My undergraduate degree is from Texas A & M University, and in 2017, I completed my Master of Education in Teacher Leadership with a concentration in English as a Second Language from Lamar University.  I began my teaching career in HISD over 20 years ago, and I have taught both primary and upper elementary before becoming an EL Specialist.  I have been the HAABE ESL Teacher of the Year at two campuses and consider it a privilege to work with teachers of Emergent Bilinguals.

My husband and I have one daughter that attends FBISD.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and reading.
