Welcome Stallion Families!

I’m so excited to welcome you to a new school year! This is my sixth year at Seguin Elementary and my ninth year in the district. I’ve previously taught Pre-K in San Marcos, Kindergarten, and 2nd grade Math and Science—but this year marks a brand-new chapter as I begin my journey as a self-contained 2nd grade teacher!

I’m thrilled to grow alongside your children as we dive into all the learning and fun this year has to offer. Teaching is truly my passion. I love helping children build the foundation they need to chase their dreams and achieve anything their hearts desire.

I was born and raised in the Austin, Texas area and earned my Master’s in Education from Texas State University (Go Bobcats!). In 2017, I moved to Houston with my wonderful husband. We have two amazing daughters—one is 5 years old and the other is 3—and they keep us on our toes! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, shopping, traveling, and taking walks.
