Mr. Alfred Carr
Hello!
I am Alfred Carr. I am a Special Education Teacher and Team Lead at JSES. I am also the school's Coding Club Sponsor.
This is my eleventh year as a school teacher and my seventh year at FBISD. I have taught 5th grade Math, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies and Special Education. I am honored to have the opportunity to be your child’s teacher.
Before becoming a teacher, I spent 23 years in the corporate world, first as an International Sales Manager, and later as an IT Business Analyst. I spent 9 years living overseas in Singapore, Malaysia and the United Kingdom.
My wife and I have two sons – Alex (a High School science teacher) and Zach (who is an Engineering Student at the University of Houston).
In my free time, I like to read historical fiction.
